We collaborate with Emory University School of Medicine, Georgia Institute of Technology and other academic institutions to advance pediatric medicine and pursue answers to perplexing medical conditions. In 2020, our researchers conducted more than 1,300 active studies in pediatric disease, yielding more than 1,700 publications. To support these efforts, we received more than $111 million in extramural funding – a record high – with $97 million from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to help make kids better today and healthier tomorrow.
