St. Louis Children's Hospital

Founded in 1879, St. Louis Children’s Hospital serves children of Missouri, Illinois and across the world, providing a full range of pediatric services. As the pediatric teaching hospital for Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis Children’s Hospital offers nationally recognized programs for training and research. This year we have 104 pediatric residents, in addition to dozens of fellows in a variety of specialties. The hospital has 405 licensed beds; 36-bed PICU, 36 bed Heart Center, level IV 150-bed NICU and a 12-bed BMT unit as well as a being the only ACS certified level 1pediatric trauma center in the state.
