Dr. Dousa is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University, University Hospital of Cleveland where he completed internal medicine residency, Infectious Disease fellowship followed by an advanced Geriatric Research Fellowship. He was training at the laboratory of Dr. Robert A. Bonomo studying the role of beta-Lactamase inhibitors and beta-lactams combination as a potential therapy for Mycobacterium abscusses and other NTM. He is a recipient of the Roe Green grant from University Hospitals. During his training, he published 15 peer reviewed articles, one book chapter and presented 11 posters in international conferences. He joined the Department of Internal Medicine at Cleveland VA Medical Center, Case Western Reserve University as a faculty.
