Associate Medical Director, Infection Prevention and Control
Children's Hospital of Philadelphia
After graduating from Duke University, I attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Following graduation, I completed a residency in Pediatrics and fellowship in Pediatric Infectious Diseases at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. I am currently an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and attend on the inpatient ID consult service at CHOP. I am the associate medical director of Infection Prevention and Control; in that position, I focus most on infection prevention in ambulatory and procedural settings and have a particular interest in reducing healthcare-associated viral infections in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, I have partnered with ambulatory operational leaders to support our large ambulatory network in COVID-response.
