Dr. Rebecca Lillis completed her Internal Medicine Residency, Chief Residency, and Infectius Diseases Fellowship at LSUHSC in New Orleans. During her Infectious Diseases Fellowship she completed a reseach project examining the role of Mycoplasma genitalium in genital tract disease in women with Dr. David Martin. Upon completion of her fellowship, she joined the Section of Infectious Diseases at LSUHSC and has played an integral role in the STI research program particulary in the areas of subject recruitment and retention. She has collaborated with Dr. David Martin, Dr. Stephanie Taylor, Dr. Patricia Kissinger, Dr. Meredith Clement, and Dr. Alison Quayle on NIH funded reseach projects.
