Miwako Kobayashi, MD, MPH, is a medical epidemiologist in the Respiratory Diseases Branch, National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). She is currently the CDC lead for the Advisory Committee for Immunization Practices Pneumococcal Work Group. She is board-certified in internal medicine and infectious diseases.
