Cory Hussain MD completed his Infectious Disease and Clinical Informatics Fellowhsip at The Ohio State University and Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, before joining Denver Health as a full time faculty. He works in Infection Prevention at Denver Health and is a faculty member in the LInQs Fellowship Program at the University of Colorado Anschutz. He is also a Clinical Informaticist and a physician member of the Epic Advisory Council at Denver Health. His additonal commitments include serving on the Infectious Disease Advisory board at Epic Health Systems. His interests include automated surviellance for hospital acquired infections and using informatics to drive indivualized data feedback models to reduce unnecessary antibiotic prescribing as part of a data driven antibiotic stewardship model.
