Tim Jenkins, MD is an Infectious Diseases specialist, the Director of Antimicrobial Stewardship at Denver Health, and an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Colorado. For more than 10 years, he has been involved in the development and execution of antibiotic stewardship initiatives, stewardship research, and policies to improve antibiotic use at the local, state, and national levels. He is a co-author of the Infectious Diseases Society of America guideline for implementing antibiotic stewardship programs and a member of the NIH Antibacterial Resistance Leadership Group.
