I am Professor of Medicine at the University of Rochester school of Medicine in the Infecitous Diseases Division since1982. my work is focused on many aspects of Respiratory Syncytial Virus in all age groups, including understanding the antigenic characteristics of the RSV proteins, the epidemiology, diagnosis and clinical impact of RSV in adult popuations, as well as the innate and adaptive B and T cell immune responses to RSV in both infants and adults. I have particpated in a number of early and later phase RSV vaccine trials in adults, as well antiviral trials in adults with RSV infection.
