Chloe Thio, MD FIDSA FACP is a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Johns Hopkins University. She received her MD degree from Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven CT, her Internal Medicine training at The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania In Philadelphia, PA, and her ID Fellowship training at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD. Her research interest is in chronic viral hepatitis, primarily chronic hepatitis B in persons living with and without HIV infection. She has written numerous book chapters, has over 140 research publications, and serves on hepatitis B guideline committees. She is a Fellow in the Infectious Diseases Society of America, the American College of Physicians, and a member of the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases.
