Matthew R. Davis, PharmD is an is an infectious diseases clinical pharmacy specialist at UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical center. He completed his post-graduate residency training at UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, California where his research efforts were focused on clinical outcomes, PK/PD, and tolerability of antifungal therapeutics. In his current role, he serves as a pharmacy consultant to five infectious diseases services (including four transplant ID services), and participates in antimicrobial stewardship for the UCLA Medical Center. He currently serves as the chair for the University of California System-Wide Infectious Diseases and Antimicrobial Stewardship Collaborative, which is a collaborative effort across five academic medical centers (UCLA, UCSF, UC San Diego, UC Irvine, and UC Davis). His clinical interests include opportunistic fungal infections in immunocompromised hosts, novel antifungal therapeutics, and PK/PD of antifungal agents.
