He was born in Des Moines, IA and attended Iowa State University before moving to Omaha, NE to study medicine at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. His professional interests include general infectious diseases, clinical education, and quality improvement. He plans to continue his training with a fellowship in Infectious Diseases.
