Kelsea was born and raised in Cheyenne, Wyoming. She earned her PharmD degree from the University of Wyoming and completed her PGY1 general inpatient residency at the University of Utah Health. While at the University of Utah Health, Kelsea found a passion for infectious diseases and solid organ transplant patients. Infectious diseases came naturally to Kelsea during pharmacy school and she loves utilizing her bug to drug knowledge to best serve patients and antimicrobial stewardship. She loves solid organ transplant due to the ability to be involved with continuity in patient care. Kelsea ultimately chose to pursue specialization in solid organ transplant and is currently the PGY2 solid organ transplant pharmacy resident at the University of Utah Health. Kelsea loves to combine her passion for both infectious diseases and solid organ transplant in this field by diving into learning the complexities of immunocompromised patients.
During her spare time, Kelsea enjoys going hiking, playing with her dogs, putting together puzzles, finding a softball game to play, visiting local coffee shops, and reading a good book.
