Amy Feehan, PhD Research Scientist, Clinical Infectious Disease Research, Ochsner Health has experience in preclinical and clinical drug development, investigator-initiated clinical trials, and most recently, prevalence research on the spread of SARS-CoV-2 in Louisiana. Her work has generated publications on non-addictive opioid drug candidates, microbiome therapeutics, and racial and workplace disparities in SARS-CoV-2 spread. She is broadly interested in gut-based therapeutics for neurological disease and increasing participation and engagement with research. She regularly commits time for youth STEM outreach.
