Yvonne J. Burnett, PharmD, BCIDP is an Assistant Professor at the Universty of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis (UHSP) and an Infectious Diseases Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Burnett graduated with her doctor of pharmacy from the University of Rhode Island and completed post graduate residency training at Atlantic Health System in Morristown, New Jersey and specialized infectious diseases training at the South Texas Veterans HealthCare System in San Antonio, Texas. Before transitioning to her current position at Missouri Baptist, Dr. Burnett served as the infectious diseases pharmacist for the Washington Unviersity School of Medicine in St. Louis Infectious Disease Outpatient Parenteral Antimicrobial Therapy program. Dr. Burnett is board certified in Infectious Diseases Pharmacotherapy and teaches in and co-coordinates the infectious diseases curriculum at St. Louis College of Pharmacy at UHSP. Her research interests include antimicrobial stewardship, antimicrobial resistance, and health outcomes.
