I trained in infectious diseases at Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. During my fellowship, I studied hospitalized patients with COVID-19 in Rhode Island. I am also a COVID-19 survivor that has inspired my research. I am currently involved in projects related to COVID-19 as well as TB and COVID-19 coinfections.
