Kennedy J. Freeman, PharmD Candidate is a P4 student at the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy on the Pre-Residency Track. Within the college, she has held various leadership positions including President of the Pediatric Pharmacy Association, Historian and Liaison for the Student Society of Health-System Pharmacists, College of Pharmacy Ambassador, Student Policy and Professionalism Committee member, and Student National Pharmaceutical Association’s Bridging the Gap Chair and Carolina Cares for Kids Leader. She is also involved in Omicron Delta Kappa Leadership Society, Phi Lambda Sigma, and Phi Delta Chi Pharmacy Fraternity. In addition to her involvements within school, she works as an inpatient pharmacy intern at both Candler Hospital in Savannah, GA and Prisma Health Children's Hospital in Columbia, SC. She is also a medication history intern at the children's hospital. Her interests include pediatrics, critical care, and infectious diseases. She plans to pursue a pediatric PGY1 residency upon graduating and further specialize through a pediatric PGY2.
