James Harrigan is a second year clinical fellow in the division of Infectious Diseases at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Informed by his clinical experiences both as a pharmacist and a physician, Dr. Harrigan’s research is focused on optimizing the use of health informatics as a tool for clinical care. His most recent work has concentrated on studying the durability of interventions focused on reducing outpatient antibiotic prescribing as well as practical implementation of targeted stewardship interventions. Outside of medicine he enjoys traveling with his wife, cooking, and exploring new DIY projects.
