Brenda Tesini, MD is an assistant professor of medicine and pediatrics in infectious diseases at the University of Rochester. She received her medical degree from the University of Miami and completed her residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at the University of Rochester followed by fellowships in Pediatric and Adult Infectious Diseases also at the University of Rochester. She is currently the associate hospital epidemiologist at the University of Rochester Medical Center and works with the CDC’s Emerging Infections Program with a focus on surveillance and prevention of emerging and multidrug resistant infection.
