I'm Catalina Espitia-Acero, microbiologist from Los Andes University, current MSc candidate in Epidemiology and assistant researcher in El Bosque University. I work with antimicrobial resistant bacteria, making identification and screening assays, and aplying sequencing techniques to identify resistant determinants in bacterial genome. My interests are oriented to clinical research, infectious diseases and human health problems.
