My primary research interest focuses on developing and implementing antimicrobial stewardship initiatives in unique patient care settings. I hope to establish robust antimicrobial stewardship programs in the ambulatory care setting that aims to decrease three things:
1. inappropriate prescribing of antibiotics
2. adverse effects caused by unnecessary antibiotics
3. antimicrobial resistance that will inevitably develop if nothing is done
