Sin Young Ham was born and raised in Korea. She went on to the Department of Life Sciences, and then entered a medical school. After graduating, she completed internal medicine residency training at Seoul National University Hospital, and is now working as a fellow in the Department of Infectious Medicine at Seoul National University Hospital.
