My name is Travis Denmeade, MD and I am coming from Charlotte, North Carolina where I currently work as a Hospitalist for Atirum Health. I obtained my medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University in 2017. Following graduation, I moved to Charlotte, North Carolina for residency in Internal Medicine at Carolinas Medical Center where I spent 3 wonderful years. After completion of residency this past year, I began my work as a hospitalist for Atrium Health where I have had the privledge to continue working with medical education in the Department of Internal Medicine. It is my hope to attend a fellowship in Infectious Diseases this coming year. The work being presented at ID week this year was completed during my residency training with the help of my mentor Dr. Michael Leonard as well as my collegues Dr. William Smith and Dr. Banks Kooken. I am thrilled to be a part of IDWeek and the ID community!
