Dr. Perez received his M.D. from Columbia University where he completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the New York Presbyterian Hospital. Afterwards, he completed a fellowship in Infectious Diseases at Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Perez also received a Masters in Psychology at New York University and more recently a Masters of Business Administration at DeSales University. Dr Perez has been leading clinical research teams in immunology and vaccines with an aim of U.S. and global licensure of products for nearly 20 years. Current research interests include meningococcal vaccines (serogroup B, ACWY vaccine, and a meningococcal pentavalent vaccine MenABCWY), maternal immunization of a group B streptococcus vaccine, and a COVID-19 vaccine.
