Luke F. Chen MBBS (Hons), MPH, MBA, CIC, FRACP, FSHEA, FIDSA
Luke currently serves as a Clinical Director in the Infectious Diseases & Vaccines Therapeutic Area of Merck Research Laboratory. He was trained as an infectious diseases physician, was on faculty at Duke University Health System and Duke Infection Control Outreach Network and served as the chief hospital epidemiologist at Duke University Hospital, NC. His research interest includes multidrug resistant infections. In addition to academic research, he has led and collaborated with teams across different functional ares to meet development and regulatory goals in antibacterial drug devlepment. He is experienced and passionate about R&D as well as furthering biotechnological solutions to address unmet needs in healthcare across the globe.
