Shelley Magill is an infectious diseases physician and medical officer in the U.S. Public Health Service. She joined the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in 2007 and has worked in the CDC's Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion since 2009. Her areas of interest and expertise include surveillance and epidemiology of healthcare-associated infections and antimicrobial-resistant pathogens. She is currently the Deputy Chief for Science in the DHQP Epidemiology Research and Innovations Branch.
