Carina Abreu is a 3rd year medical student at Albany Medical College. She obtained a Bachelor of Science from the University at Albany in 2015, majoring in Human Biology and Public Health. After her undergraduate education, she went on to complete a master’s in biomedical science from Rutgers University School of Biomedical Science. She is interested in health disparities and Social Emergency Medicine.
