My name is Jonathan Hyak and I am a first year Internal Medicine resident at The Ohio State University. I went to medical school at Baylor College of Medicine in my home state of Texas before heading to the Midwest. While there, I completed my Master of Public Health at the University of Texas Health Science Center.
Though still finding and developing my research interests, it is important for the work to be valuable to both science and the patient. While we create so much knowledge, and with more technology and data hitting our labs and EMRs, we need to apply it meaningfully and know why we do what we do. This is why my early interests are in clinical prediction and outcomes.
