Alexa A. Pragman, MD, PhD is an Assistant Professor of Medicine (Infectious Disease) at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center and the University of Minnesota. Her long-term research goal is to understand the role of the lung microbiota in the pathogenesis of inflammatory lung disorders. Her work thus far has resulted in 8 publications on the human lung microbiota. She is currently funded by the VA Office of Research and Development and the University of Minnesota Clinical and Translational Science Institute.
