Dr. Holowka is currently a resident in Internal Medicine at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. He attended Haverford College from 2003-2007 prior to working as a research assistant in the laboratory of Dr. Edward Pearce at the University of Pennsylvania from 2007-2009. He received his PhD in microbiology after completing doctoral research in the laboratory of Dr. Richard Bucala at Yale University from 2009-2014. He attended Stony Brook University for his medical schoo training from 2014-2018, and suring this time worked in the laboratory of Dr. Bettina Fries. During his career he has been received funding from the National Institute of Health, the Howard Hughes Medical Institute and the Infectious Disease Society of America to pursue his research.
