Rachel Gibbs is a 4th-year medical student at the Medical School for International Health at Ben Gurion University, Israel. Rachel has an interest in infectious disease, particularly relating to outbreak investigations and public health. During medical school, Rachel was a research and quality improvement volunteer at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, and worked at a microbiology and genomics lab in Beer Sheva, Israel. She is pursuing internal medicine residency this year in the United States.
