Amber M. Watts, PharmD, is the current PGY2 Infectious Diseases Pharmacy resident at WakeMed Health & Hospitals in Raleigh, North Carolina. Amber is from Goldsboro, NC and she received both her Bachelors of Arts in Mathematics and her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She completed her PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at WakeMed Health & Hospitals. Her current practice interests include antimicrobial stewardship, HIV, and pediatric infectious diseases. She hopes to earn board certification in pharmacotherapy during her residency year and hopes to one day practice at a medical center that offers opportunities for precepting or serving as an adjunct professor at a local pharmacy school.
