Bruce Aldred, MD is an Infectious Diseases Fellow at University of Minnesota. Bruce grew up in southern Delaware. He attended the University of Delaware where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology in 2012. He graduated from Perelman School of Medicine at University of Pennsylvania in 2016. He completed Internal Medicine Residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) in 2019. Bruce's interests within ID include Staphylococcus aureus bacteremia, gram positive soft-tissue and bone/joint infections, and ID medical education. Bruce has a particular interest in the intersection of interactive video multimedia with medical education. Outside of medicine, he enjoys skateboarding, bicycling, hiking, filmmaking, learning about American industrial and railroad history, and gardening.
