Sam Horwich-Scholefield is an epidemiologist working on tracking and characterizing the local population of carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriaceae (CRE) at the Alameda County Public Health Department. He has previously worked at the California Department of Public Health, where he originally served as a CDC/CSTE Applied Epidemiology Fellow. He has participated in four previous ID Week conferences.
