Academically trained in Effectiveness and Outcomes Research, Kate has worked in the healthcare industry for over 12 years. After several years working at several highly regarded consulting firms, she moved to focus on infectious disease on the industry side at The Medicines Company. There, she led Value (Economics, Reimbursement, and Market Access) for the infectious disease franchise before moving to medical affairs at Spero Therapeutics. In 2019, Kate returned to consulting and now operates as an independent consultant providing product development, health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), medical affairs, and commercial strategy services to diverse clientele in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device, diagnostic, and digital therapeutics spaces.
