Celia Kucera, CORE MSIV and Amyeo Jereen, SELECT MSIV are both medical students at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa, FL. They conducted a summer research project at Kasturba Medical College in Manipal, India between their first and second years of medical school. Ms. Kucera was granted a summer scholarly award to complete this research. Their data has been presented in oral and poster presentations, winning Outstanding Oral Presentation Second Prize at the USF 9th Annual Student Symposium in 2018. They are currently working on a manuscript to be submitted for publication in Fall 2020. They are both pursuing careers in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
