Daniel Kagedan MD MSc FRCSC is a General Surgeon and Surgical Oncologist practicing in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada. He completed General Surgery residency and the Surgeon Scientist Training Program at the University of Toronto, and Surgical Oncology fellowship at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. Clinical interests include complex gastrointestinal oncology and academic interests include outcomes in surgical oncology, health services research, performance measurement/management, and health policy. Extracurricular interests include spending time with his sons, traveling the world (pre-pandemic), and singing classical music and opera.
