Nirma holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Bachelor of Science Chemistry from Arcadia University and a Master of Public Health from Drexel University. Nirma has over 13 years of clinical research and public health research experience, working in Clinical Project Management at Pharmaceutical Product Inc. (PPD); Community Health and Promotion Research at Drexel University; Medical Quality at Eli Lily, Process, Training and Technology Quality at Parexel. Currently, Nirma is a PhD candidate in Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of British Columbia under the supervision of Dr. Fawziah Lalji. Her research interests are: health outcome evaluations, pharmacoepidemiology, health economic evaluations, health technology assessments, public health communication, infectious disease epidemiology and women health issues.
