Ronald M. Beaulieu III, M.D. recently joined the Division of Infectious Diseases and Travel Medicine at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital as a clinical faculty member. He graduated from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans and completed an internal medicine residency at LSU Health Baton Rouge followed by an infectious diseases fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. His clinical time is spent collaboratviely working with a limb salvage team toward the treatment of complex bone and joint infections as a member of the Musculoskeletal Section of the Division of Infectious Diseases. He has also been an active member of the antimicrobial stewardship and infection prevention committes at both VUMC during fellowship and now at MGUH.
