Jason F Okulicz, MD, is Professor of Medicine at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He also serves as Chief of the Infectious Disease Service at the San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC), Director of the United States Air Force (USAF) HIV Medical Evaluation Unit, and the USAF subject matter expert for HIV clinical care and HIV prevention with pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP). He received his medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and completed his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Infectious Disease at Wilford Hall Medical Center and Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio.
Dr Okulicz has coauthored numerous articles that have been published in peer-reviewed journals such as JAMA Internal Medicine, Clinical Infectious Disease, and the New England Journal of Medicine. He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and Infectious Disease Society of America, and member of the HIV Medicine Association, Armed Forces Infectious Disease Society, and Texas Infectious Disease Society.
