Sharon Tsay, MD is an adult infectious diseases physician and serves as the Outpatient Stewardship Lead in the Office of Antibiotic Stewardship in the Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta. Dr. Tsay completed her internal medicine residency at Columbia-New York Presbyterian Hospital in New York City, and infectious diseases fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. She joined the CDC in 2016 as an Epidemic Intelligence Service officer where she led outbreak investigations and epidemiological analyses in the Mycotic Diseases Branch. She continues to practice clinically in the Atlanta area as an ID consultant for Piedmont Healthcare 1-2 weekends each month.
