Andrew Karaba, MD, PhD is an infectious diseases fellow at Johns Hopkins University. He received his MD and PhD from Northwestern University in Chicago before completing his internal medicine residency at Johns Hopkins. He is in the ABIM research pathway. His clinical interests include chronic viral infections and immunocompromised hosts. His research focuses on the innate immune response to viruses.
