Graham Smith, MD, MSc, CCFP, HIV primary care physician at Maple Leaf Medical Clinic in Toronto, Canada. I completed my MD degree ('88) and Family Meidcien Residency ('90) at McGill University. I subsequently spent a year as a forgein resident in infectious diseases at the Bichat, Claude-Bernard Hospital in Paris. I returned to Montreal to the McGill Aids Centre/Royal Victoria Hospital HIV Clinic. I completed a MSc in Epidemiology and Biostatistics in 2002, again at McGill. In 2004, I moved to Toronto and joined the commuity based, Maple Leaf Medical Clinic where we care for people living with HIV and those at risk. In addition to clinical care, we established Maple Leaf Research, thorugh whic we participate in numerous clinical trials and epidemiolgoic studies.
