Sandhya Seshadri is a researcher, educator, and clinician. Her research focuses on the health and well-being of adults. As a qualitative researcher, Dr. Seshadri has worked on several studies including an inter-professional longitudinal study examining older adults' transition from the emergency department to their homes. As the project director and co-investigator for a PCORI funded project, she collaborated with researchers and community stakeholders to enagage older adults from under-served communities to learn about aging, health research methods, and aging research. Partnering with researchers engaged in community health research and prevention of infectious diseases, she worked on a study examining the sustainability of antibiotic stewardship in nursing homes. She has published and presented her work at local, national, and international conferences. As an educator she teaches qualitative research methods and the clinical management of swallowing disorders, aphasia, and motor-speech disorders.
