Dr. Colburn recieved her medical degree and Master's Degree of Public Health at Case Western Reserve University. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Infecious Diseases and HIV Medicine at University Hospitals Case Medical Center. After completion of her traning, she joined ID Consultants, Inc, a private practice in Cleveland, Ohio. While practicing, she served as the Medical Director of Infection Prevention at Hillcrest Hospital and the Medical Director of the Lake County General Health District. In 2019, she moved to Columbus, Ohio and joined the faculty of the Ohio State Univeristy. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases and the Medical Director of Clinical Epidemiology at the Ross Heart Hospital.
