Rebecca Cofsky, PharmD, BCIDP is the Infectious Diseases Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at Reading Hospital in Reading, Pennsylvania. I attended Duquesne University where I received a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree. I completed a general pharmacy practice residency at Penn State Hershey Medical Center and then completed a specialty residency in Infectious Diseases at Stony Brook University Medical Center. I was hired at The Reading Hospital in 2010 as the Infectious Diseases Clinical Pharmacy Specialist and was tasked to implement an Antibiotic Stewardship Program. We recently implemented an antibiotic stewardship initiative in the urgent care centers affiiated with our Health System, Tower Health. This poster describes our initiative.
