Roger J. Bedimo is a Professor of Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and the Chief of Infectious Diseases at the VA North Texas. He is also the Clinical Research Site (CRS) Leader within the AIDS Clinical Trials Group at Prism North Texas, with the responsibility for establishing the CRS research priorities, overseeing the conduct of clinical research at the site, managing the site personnel and budget, and communicating with the NIH personnel. He is currently a member of the DHHS COVID-19 Guidelines Committee tasked with issuing recommendations on diagnosis and management of the disease. He has conducted multiple clinical studies on HIV disease and other infectious diseases.
