Dr. Zola Nlandu, is currently a final year Infectious Disease Fellow at The Univeristy of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, and formerly attended Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens, Georgia where he completed his Internal Medicine Residency. Dr. Nlandu was recently featured in the New York Times "In Harms Way" project, honoring and highlighting the work of health care workers during the current pandemic. His current interests include antimicrobrial stewardship, and the use of rapid diagnostics tests to facilitate this. In his spare time, when he is not catching up with rest, he likes to write poetry, watch movies and frequent different restaurants with his wife.
