Charlie Burns, MD is a fellow in Infectious Diseases at Duke University. Charlie completed his undergraduate degree in biochemistry at the University of Wisconsin and received his doctor of medicine from Rush Medical College. He then went on to complete a residency in Internal Medicine and a chief resident year at Case Western Reserve University. Clinically Charlie is interested in general infectious diseases especially HIV and medical education. His research interests include HIV prevention and health services research.
