Kengo Inagaki MD, Associate Professor, University of Mississippi Medical Center (currently at University of Michigan).
Dr. Inagaki received his medical degree from Tokyo Medical and Dental University. Following pediatric residency, he completed Pediatric Infectious Disease Fellowship training at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. During the clinical fellowship, Dr. Inagaki also learned molecular virology methodologies and skills needed to conduct clinical investigations, supported by Physician Scientist Training Program. He was an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Mississippi Medical Center until September 2020, and is now an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Michigan. He has conducted a number of research projects as relevant to his clinical practice. His research interests include infections in immunocompromised children, infections in transplant settings, infections in minority children, and genomic research, among others.
